Eternal Green Signed MoU with NIT Warangal

NIT Warangal has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Eternal Green, a new-age green start-up with primary business in Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem, to undertake collaborative research and provide experiential opportunities to students. The MoU was signed by Director, Dr N. V. Ramana Rao on behalf of NIT Warangal and CEO - Mr Ajay Maurya on behalf of Eternal Green, in presence of Dr Narasimha Sarma NVS, Registrar Mr S Goverdhana Rao, Mr Vinay Kumar; a team of faculty members of NIT Warangal and other dignitaries.
The MoU provides an opportunity for the NIT Warangal and Eternal Green to collaborate and promote a vibrant culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in India’s EV ecosystem. The first collaboration under this MoU will be in the area of EV fleet operations optimization using Operations Research, Machine Learning and Prescriptive Analytics.

On the occasion of MoU signing, Mr Ajay Maurya quoted “EV ecosystem in India is at the cusp of a major hockey curve growth due to multiple reasons including government policy and subsidy push, reducing battery costs across world and increasing oil prices, interest among private players & investors; among others. Eternal Green’s vision is to promote green and sustainable businesses which reduce carbon footprint of public and enterprises as well as provide employment opportunities. We look forward to collaborate with NIT-Warangal in fostering innovation in this nascent sector and hopefully, make India a leader in EV adoption”.
Professor Sarma/Somayajulu said “With its reputed faculty, brilliant student / research scholar community and state-of-the art infrastructure, NIT-Warangal can tackle unique challenges presented by this niche EV sector. We will collaborate with Eternal Green to identify each challenge and solve them using our subject/technology expertise and experience in similar sectors. This collaboration will provide NIT student community to work on real-world business challenges and gain rich exposure”.
